Born into a woodworking family in Maine, USA, he grew up polishing blanks with his grandfather in the woodworking shop. He specializes in carving American native totems such as eagles and elks, as well as vintage decorative panels. He insists on hand-chiseling every detail, rejecting mass production by machines. Each work retains the original knots and textures of the raw materials, allowing natural traces to become the unique symbol of the work. His creations replicate the classic aesthetics of American country and traditional home furnishings, making him a representative craftsman of traditional American wood carvings.
