He has been engaged in wood carving for more than 30 years, and his craft is self-taught through constant practice. He is good at creating large floor wood carvings and portrait carvings, adhering to the traditional mortise and tenon technique to splice blanks without glue or nails, relying on the interlocking of raw materials to fix the shape. A large work often takes months to carve carefully, and every detail is polished repeatedly. The finished products have a strong vintage charm, making them collectible classic pure wood works.
